I found a cheap Blueberry Tray G3 and quickly realized OSX ran super slow while OS9 was buttery smooth. that that would be the 'purest' way to experience OSX.

Agreed! Actually I got my first G3 after I found a boxed copy of OSX 10.1 and was looking for something to run it and figured since the G3s looked sorta aqua-esque.
